A Quality Account is a published report about the quality of services and improvements offered by an NHS healthcare provider.
The quality of the services is measured by looking at:
- patient safety
- how effective patient treatments are
- patient feedback about care provided
Latest reports are published every year on each provider’s website.
Trusts that need guidance for how to publish their Quality Accounts can visit NHS providers: financial accounting and reporting, on the NHS England website.
